If you are not up for kerning down the slopes of Snowbowl, snow play is a great option for you. There is several snow play areas in and around Flagstaff. Wing Mountain Snow Play Area is probably the most popular and where the locals like to hang out and do some sledding. Wing Mountain provides access to several levels of slopes and cross country ski areas as well. There are also several non sanctioned sledding areas that you can find out when you roll into town and purchase your sledding gear. Just ask the merchant and I am sure they will hook you up.

Bring the family up to Flagstaff, and create those lasting memories and those photos that make wonderful Christmas cards. So if no one in your family downhill skis, then consider another, even less expensive, way to indulge in the beautiful snow packed mountains of Flagstaff.
