What To Do

Flagstaff Music and Night Life

The Museum Club–road house and dance club–offer live Country Western music and entertainment. Located on the Mother road–historic Route 66–you could say that this is the mother of all road houses. But be careful on the large dance floor. You’ll have to boot scoot around the huge tree trunks that serve as roof supports.

In historic downtown Flagstaff you’ll feel safe to wander from bar to bar. And you’ll be sure to find a place that is comfortable for you. Whether you find yourself on a quiet couch for spectacular wine tasting or bouncing on a wooden dance floor with trendy hipsters from nearby Northern Arizona University (NAU), you’ll be happy you came.

The Orpheum Theatre, a historic landmark, is downtown Flagstaff’s premier performing arts venue. It gets the best of the nation’s touring rock, folk and country bands, so check out the schedule of events.

On Friday nights during the summer months, stop by Movies on the Square. Live entertainment starts at 6pm before the free movies are shown at Heritage Square in downtown. These summertime events attract fun, local crowds.

NAU also offers a variety of entertainment ranging from free classic films to lectures to orchestra concerts and live theatre. And be sure to look into the outdoor concerts offered at the Pine Mountain Amphitheatre located in a shady, pine-scented venue just south of town.
